![]() Now, if the computer you are using is connected to a router of some sort and you use the ethernet connection for an Internet connection as well, you may need to adjust the ATEM IP information to place it on the already existing network. This should get the software talking to the hardware. You will want to tell the software it is looking for 192.168.10.240 so it knows to search for the ATEM's IP on the computer's network. This should prompt you for an IP address to point to. This will allow your Internet connection to look to your WiFi first. Under your list of connections on the left, click the gear icon and choose "Set Service Order." Drag your WiFi connection to the top. *Additional note for Mac: If you're using a WiFi Internet connection, you don't want the Ethernet connection to be seen as the primary connection. It may seem confusing at first if you're unfamiliar with networking, but hopefully it will make more sense as you're going through the settings.įirst, let's walk through some settings if you directly connect ethernet from ATEM to computer and do not use the computer's ethernet port for an Internet connection as well. Are you connecting the ethernet cable directly from the ATEM to the computer? Or are you running the connection through a router of sorts on an existing network? Either one would work, and I'll give you a bit of information to help in either situation for Mac and PC environments.
